Become a Field Researcher

Do you find yourself thinking, "man, I'd like to do that"? If, by "that", you are referring to traveling, and perhaps keeping a travel blog of your own, then you are in the right place.

HHG2 is looking for a few good scribes to add their journeys, photos, and coherent ramblings to the collection here. You will have your own section on the site, and can use it to share with friends, family, and any literate, internet-saavy dogs.

And here's the deal: I'll do all the work, and will not charge you anything for it. You don't have to know anything about the web; I'll take care of putting your blog entries and your photos into web pages. I'll be your own personal web designer, though I make no claims of being good at it.

So, why would I do this? Is there a catch? There is no "catch", as I would define it, but there is one thing to be clear on: you don't have to pay me, but I also don't have to pay you. Your submissions become the property of this site, as will any advertising revenue from your blog pages. On the flip side, I'll be paying for the hosting and upkeep of the site, and will not charge you for that.

Kevin McConaghy (the “h” is silent) is a recovering advertising account executive who officially lives in Dallas, Texas. He is 27 years old, has been married 0 times and was once kicked in the face by a bull*.
