I've Been (Almost) Everywhere

While listening to the song "I've Been Everywhere" by Johnny Cash (it has been sung by several people, but the version I have is by Johnny Cash), I realized that I knew what the dusty Winnemucca Road was, and had been to many of the locations mentioned in the song. After a little bit of research, here is a list of the places in the song I have been to...so far.

Reno Yes (or close enough, anyway)
Chicago Yes
Fargo Yes (at night)
Minnesota Yes
Buffalo Yes, but not New York--the tiny town of Buffalo, Kansas
Toronto No, but I have been to Ontario.
Winslow Yes, and I stood on the corner.
Sarasota Possibly have been there, but don't remember exactly. I have at least been close when I went to Tampa.
Wichita Yes, many times.
Tulsa Yes, many more times.
Ottawa In Kansas, yes.
Oklahoma Spent the majority of my life there, so yes.
Tampa Yes. See Sarasota.
Panama The country? No.
Mattawa No. It's in Ontario, by the way.
La Paloma The town in Uruguay? Um, no.
Bangor No
Baltimore Yes. South Baltimore, anyway.
Salvador No
Amarillo 4 or 5 times.
Tocopilla That's in Chile. Never been there.
Baranquilla May refer to towns in Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, or Panama. Never been to any of them.
Padilla No fair--I'm not sure that's really a place.

Boston Yes
Charleston West Virginia: yes, I believe so. South Carolina: no.
Dayton Yes
Louisiana Yes, multiple times.
Washington Both the state and the city.
Houston A few times.
Kingston In Oklahoma, probably in Tennessee, and within a mile or two of it in New Jersey. Never been to Jamaica, though.
Texarkana Yes
Monterey In Tennessee, not California.
Ferriday No
Santa Fe Yes
Tallapoosa Have possibly been through the county by that name in Alabama. Have not been to the towns in Missouri or Georgia, but have been close to each.
Glen Rock No. Have been to New Jersey, which is pretty much one big city.
Black Rock According to Google Maps, Black Rock, CA is in upstate New York. Never been to the town.
Little Rock Yes, quite a few times.
Oskaloosa No (it is in Iowa)
Tennessee Yes
Hennessey Yes, many times. In Oklahoma.
Chicopee No (it is near Springfield, Massachussetts)
Spirit Lake No
Grand Lake Yes
Crater Lake I tried.

Nashville Yes. My college friends and I sometimes refer to it as Nash Vegas.

Pittsfield There are at least 10 of these in the US, and I have been to one of them (in Vermont)
Springfield Of course. Springfields are everywhere.
Bakersfield The one in Texas, yes.
Shreveport Yes, at least 3 times in the past year
Hackensack Have been close, and as mentioned before, New Jersey is really just one big city.
Cadillac No, but I've been in a Caddillac.
Fond Du Lac No (it's in Wisconsin)
Davenport Yes
Idaho Yes
Jellico No (it's in Tennessee)
Argentine You mean Argentina? No.
Diamantina No (it's in Brazil)
Pasadena I have at least been close.
Catalina It is a suburb of Tucson, which I have been to.

Pittsburg In Kansas, yes. Go Gorillas!
Parkersburg Don't think so.
Gravelbourg No
Colorado Yes
Ellensburg Yes, in Washington.
Rexburg No
Vicksburg No
Eldorado Yes (near Wichita)
Larimore Laramie, yes. Larimore, no.
Atmore No (in Alabama)
Haverstraw No (in New York)
Chattanooga No
Chaska No, though it is near Minneapolis, which I have been to.
Nebraska Yes
Alaska Alas, no.
Opelika Don't remember. If I've been to Tallapoosa County (above), I've also been through Opelika.
Baraboo I've been within 5 miles of Baraboo, Wisconsin, but I didn't go in the actual town.
Waterloo No, but I've been fairly close to the town in Illinois.
Kalamazoo No
Kansas City Yes
Sioux City Yes (same day as Kansas City)
Cedar City Yes
Dodge City Yes
